Turn Your Car Into A Mobile Billboard at

The amount of odd side gigs in the world seems to be increasing at a rapid pace, and it lends itself to some rather odd opportunities at time. is one of those opportunities, they’ll pay you to turn your car into a mobile advertising billboard. If you’re not in love with your car’s aesthetic, you may be looking at a perfect opportunity.

How It Works

Wrapify takes money from their clients in order to start campaigns which should help generate advertising for the companies they take on. In exchange, the drivers receive some money based on the level of coverage of the car and the amount of miles they find themselves driving. Drive more, earn more money.

It’s a pretty simple set-up, and after you have your car’s look changed you might be looking at a decent amount of cash per week. With a one hundred mile daily commute and a full wrap you’re looking at about $450 a week, which can quickly add up.

You can choose from three different options for the modification to your car, a panel type arrangement, a partial wrap, or the full wrap which will alter every inch of exterior surface area on your vehicle.

You’ll be paid via a bi-weekly direct deposit into your bank account, the amount you earn is based on the campaign you’re participating in and how many miles you drive within the eligible area. There is a mileage cap, but you’ll still accrue miles if you hit it daily, just not any additional money for that day.

You’ll need to have the app open on the front screen of your phone while you’re driving in order to accrue the mileage, so a good car charger is definitely a necessity. The longer you work for a particular campaign, the more money you’ll make although you can opt out at any time.

Wrapify assures vehicle owners that the wraps won’t damage their vehicle, instead they’ll help to protect the paint until it’s time to take them off.

What are the Requirements?

Basically, all you need to participate in their campaigns is a vehicle that’s newer than a 2008 model and some kind of iOS compatible device to connect with. Unfortunately, there isn’t currently an Android version of the app, although their website says that they’re currently working on getting it done.

The car has to be in good shape as well, no body damage is accepted here and some vehicles simply won’t qualify due to the complexity of the wrap involved.

The nice thing is that you don’t have to invest any money to get started. They do all of the work, and you’ll be making money based on it.

Obviously, those who are hopelessly attached to the way their car looks are going to give this one a pass, but if you have a vehicle that qualifies you might be looking at some serious money in your pocket.

They also don’t work with cars that are currently driving for Uber, Lyft or other ridesharing services so you’re out of luck if you were hoping to combine the two for a bigger payday.

Wrapify might be able to help you get a decent payday out of your daily commute. You won’t get rich doing it alone, but the amount of money they offer for a full wrap and a decent amount of miles definitely isn’t chump change.

Car lovers will disagree, but if you don’t particularly care how your vehicle looks it’s a great way to add a little bit of extra money to your account each month.
